"More net from gross" - what is new and what is particularly relevant for employees and employers? On April 6, the WSB provided information as part of the 2nd Big Bootcamp weekend of the DFA (Deutsche Fortbildungsakademie Heilwesen) on the various salary components and salary optimization options.

On Saturday alone, the first day of the event, an impressive number of interested participants logged in to attend the nine presentations. Sabrina Krennrich-Böhm, WSB partner as well as tax consultant and specialist consultant for the medical professions (IFU/ISM gGmbH), gave a 2.5-hour expert presentation entitled "More net from gross", explaining how employers can position themselves more strongly against competitors. Employees were also provided with detailed information on how they can talk to their employer in order to score even better when it comes to salary in the future.

"Whether childcare costs, recreational allowances, monthly tax-free benefits in kind of up to EUR 50.00 in addition to salary and much more - the state offers a wide range of options that are easy to implement, especially for small companies," says Sabrina Krennrich-Böhm. He adds: "Active and continuous appreciation and motivation are important signals that employers should set across all sectors. Sustainable employee loyalty and an attractive and contemporary employer profile are positive and strong side effects."
