Higher annual fee for the transparency register as of 2022

The new obligation to be entered in the transparency register for many companies is also accompanied by higher annual fees that the companies must bear.

In the past year, the group of companies and organizations that are required to be entered in the transparency register has expanded drastically. For example, the deadline for registration for GmbHs, UGs and partnership companies expires at the end of June 2022. Associated with this new registration obligation is a significant increase in fees for the companies concerned. While the annual fee in 2020 was still 4.80 euros, the Federal Gazette may already charge 11.67 euros per year for 2021 and as of 2022 even 20.80 euros. At least additional changes to the entries within a year will not lead to further fees.
