Additions to the Bureaucracy Relief Act IV

In future, it should also be possible to provide the information on the essential working conditions required under the Evidence Act in text form, i.e. by e-mail.

The Federal Government has adopted an amendment to the government draft for the Fourth Bureaucracy Relief Act proposed by the Federal Ministry of Justice. The amendment comprises three measures. Among other things, it is planned to replace the written form with the text form in the Evidence Act. This means that in future, an employment contract can generally be concluded completely digitally, for example by email.

In addition, tradespeople who relocate their business premises to the jurisdiction of another trade authority will no longer have to deregister their previous business premises. It will then be sufficient to register with the new authority, which will then automatically inform the previous competent authority. A further innovation will relieve the burden on listed companies, which will no longer have to publish the documents relating to remuneration-related resolutions planned at the Annual General Meeting in the Federal Gazette, but can simply make them available to shareholders on their own website.
