Last deadline extension for final coronavirus invoices

The deadline for submitting the final statement on coronavirus economic aid has been extended one last time, namely until September 30, 2024.

In agreement with the professional organizations of the auditing third parties, the federal and state governments have agreed on a final extension of the deadline for submitting the final accounts. The final accounts for coronavirus economic aid (bridging, November and December aid) can therefore still be submitted until September 30, 2024. This deadline extension is also associated with some simplifications in the review process. As a result of these measures, all of the approximately 400,000 outstanding final accounts should be available for review by the 21 approval bodies over the course of the year.
