Deadline for final settlement on corona aid extended again
As there are still more outstanding final accounts than expected, the deadline for the final accounts for the various coronavirus aid measures has been extended by another two months.
Originally, the deadline for submitting the final accounts for the coronavirus aid would have expired on June 30, 2023, but was initially extended until August 31, 2023 for all accounts that had not yet been submitted. The Federal Ministry of Economics has now extended the general submission deadline again, by two months to October 31, 2023. The final accounts for coronavirus economic aid can now be submitted by the auditing third parties up to this date or an application for a further deadline extension can be submitted in individual cases.
The deadline is now extended until March 31, 2024 at the latest. If a deadline extension until December 31, 2023 has already been approved, it will now be automatically extended until March 31, 2024. The new deadlines apply to Bridging Aid I to IV and November/December Aid. The final settlement procedure for new start aid has already been completed for some time.
