Customs smartphone app

Customs' revamped app allows travelers on vacation to see what goods they can bring duty-free or what duties may apply.

Just in time for the start of the peak travel season, the German Federal Ministry of Finance is releasing the completely revised smartphone app "Zoll und Reise" (Customs and Travel). The new version offers an expanded import duty calculator that will make it even easier for travelers to see what they can bring back to Germany duty-free. The app is available for download free of charge for Android and iOS.
