Fit and healthy into the future: that movement and reading can be fun, children of the 4th grades of elementary schools from Nußloch, Leimen and the surrounding area were able to experience on Thursday, 14.07.2022 at the reading and movement day in the Racket Center Nußloch experience

Renowned children's book authors such as Juliane Sophie Kayser, Silke Schellhammer, Dr. Andrea Liebers, Rebecca Elbs and Martin Ebbertz, took the kids on exciting adventure trips.

Various sporting activities from Viet Vo Dao to cool dances and a varied movement course ensured fitness.

So much action and exercise for body and mind made this entertaining school day a very special experience. And who can say that they have met the author of their favorite book in person?

These exceptional school lessons were held under the patronage of Science Minister Theresia Bauer and Dr. h.c. Manfred Lautenschläger at the invitation of the law firm WSB and the lawyers of schlatter.law.

"Children are our greatest happiness and are especially close to our hearts. That's how the idea for the reading and exercise day came about. The shining children's eyes speak volumes. All 130 children were eager to get down to business and hung on the authors' every word," says a pleased Sabrina Krennrich-Böhm, partner and tax consultant at WSB and initiator of the event.

"Those who can write, read and listen without interruption, who can distinguish and switch between action phase and concentration, will also be ahead in the future. That's why we wanted to make the direct interplay between sport and concentration something that can be experienced in a very tangible way. This concept was a complete success with the 'Reading and Exercise Day'," says a pleased Dr. Martin Duncker, attorney and partner of schlatter.law.
