Sound advice is always crucial in order to set the right course. In the medical sector in particular, setting up a business or giving up a practice are important steps that involve existential questions and tax implications.

On March 22, 2025, we were invited to speak at an exciting and topic-intensive workshop dedicated to precisely these two milestones for doctors and medical professionals. 

Whether it was the sale of a practice or setting up a business - the workshop was a valuable platform for exchanging ideas, gaining sound insights and receiving direct advice from experts.

🩺 For those handing over their practice, there was helpful advice and important information on the financial, tax and legal aspects of handing over a practice. From planning to the final handover, all relevant steps were highlighted in order to make the process as smooth as possible.

💡 Business founders were given a clear overview of what the path to self-employment as a doctor looks like. What hurdles need to be overcome? What steps are necessary to successfully set up your own practice? All these questions were answered.

🤝 The exchange between donors and founders was particularly great. Valuable contacts were made here, which laid the foundations for one or two future collaborations.
