Unfortunately, this appeal is not quite enough to bring peace between all people, but it is enough to bring peace between tax offices and taxpayers. This is because the tax offices refrain from almost all burdensome measures during this time.

This means: no fines and penalties, no external audits, no enforcement measures.

There are no standardized rules as to when the Christmas miracle begins. Each federal state sets its own times. As a rule, the Christmas truce begins in the days before Christmas and ends with the old year.
