Info
WSB Info: Protective shield for your business - You can fully deduct these insurances as business expenses
The tax office recognizes your insurance premiums as business expenses if the insurance covers your business risk as an entrepreneur.
The following business-related insurances are fully deductible:
✔️ Business and professional liability insurance
✔️ Business interruption and business interruption insurance
✔️ Fire and theft insurance for company premises
✔️ Bad debt insurance
✔️ Comprehensive, liability and accident insurance for company vehicles
✔️ Legal protection insurance
✔️ Accident insurance
✔️ Company insurance with the employers' liability insurance association
✔️ Financial loss liability insurance
However, if you insure private risks (e.g. occupational disability, illness, accident or death), your insurance premiums are only eligible for a limited special expense deduction.
Did you already know these details, but do you have friends or acquaintances who are new to the business? Then please forward this report to them and help them save tax.
