For many, the start of the year is typically dominated by winter sports. However, one event in January is an exception at WSB - this is when attention turns to yellow felt balls and netted rackets: the MLP Cup in Nußloch.

The world ranking tournament, which is endowed with 30,000 dollars, has now been held for the 21st time. And last year, the MLP Cup even scored its very own triumph: It received the „Tournament Recognition Award“ from the International Tennis Federation (ITF) for its outstanding staging.
Only 5 to 10 % of all tournaments worldwide manage that - that's saying something. 🌟

We at WSB are proud to have supported such an important tournament as a sponsor for many years. Whether young athletes or up-and-coming tennis talents - the MLP Cup is not only a meeting place for top-class sport, but also for representatives of the region from business and trade. This is what makes the event so versatile and important.

„Supporting an event like this means a lot to us,“ explains Sabrina Krennrich-Böhm, partner and tax consultant at WSB's Heidelberg office. „As a large tax firm in the Rhine-Neckar district, we are deeply connected to the people and institutions here. It is therefore only natural for us to get involved and contribute to making the region lively and attractive,“ she concludes.
